I think you are missing something, but I also missed it to so I emailed Cyberlink Tech Support ![]() I see no way to use calibrated dispaly ICC profiles. However all in all it works perfectly OK, and I do not have a problem to switch from LR frequently sometimes for fun, sometimes just for comparison. There are no camera profiles aka LR, default processing is not Camera/ISO based (compared to LR and SPIX), it is somewhat limited extracting the last tiny bit of DR from raw(same as Silkypix), it cannot use fully 10 bit extracting from video h265 codec (LR cannot do this at all). There are few things I am not happy with though. It resembles LR UI like no software I tried so far. If it's very good piece of soft and very capable. if you're finding the more known options are not quite right for you, this might be what you're after. Corel products seem well enough known but until this year, rather buggy in my experience but Cyberlink PhotoDirector9 seems fully matured, not sure why it's not more widely known.very easy transition for LR users to boot. With Cyberlink PhotoDirector 9 and Corel Paintshop Pro 2018.l was able to purchase a great alternative for RAW&JPEG for just over $100.00 Canadian for both the only negative I found in using it was an inability to display the file name directly under tiles in the library. In terms of Olympus RAW conversion, this software is excellent, and it offers features for skin touch up, Noise Reduction, etc. so in search of a fully capable non subscription Adobe alternative, I tried PhotoDirector9 from Cyberlink.yes I know my LR won't stop working tommorrow, but the subscription thing irks me and I want an alternative. ![]() For RAW I have Adobe LR 6 standalone and have also used DXO ,Silkypix, Capture Nx2 (NEF) extensively, recently tried Affinity and also Aftershot Pro 3.for JPEG PS Elements and an old W7 staple MS Digital Image Suite have been my main.but tried many others.
